Biografia

All'inizio fu favorevole a mwcqRoma e il figlio mwcgArminio entrò a far parte dell'mwcwesercito romano assieme a mwdaFlavus. Secondo mwdqCassio Dione, Segimero fu sotto il comando di Arminio durante la ribellione anti romana, che nel mwdg9 culminò con la mwdwbattaglia della foresta di Teutoburgo, ma Flavus rimase leale ai Romani nonostante la sconfitta di mweaVaro. Dopo le mweqspedizioni punitive di mwegGermanico, Segimero, a differenza di suo fratello Inguiomero, non venne menzionato da mwewTacito.
